LMNO Peas by Keith Baker

LMNO Peas...This is a new favorite!!! I hope the Easter bunny brings this one for Carson because it is too cute! (I think he might!) It is also a 2011-2012 SC Picture Book Nominee. Children will just LOVE this rhyming alphabet book.
It reminds me of Judy Sierra's The Sleepy Little Alphabet! Both of these books are a MUST for home and school collections. Even older children will love to look through the illustrations and find the hidden letter words.
Meet the peas- the alphabet peas!
They're acrobats, artists, and astronauts in space-
They're builders, bathers, and bikers in a race.
Follow the peas- and all that they do- from A to Z!

It's sleepy time in Alphabet Town. But the twenty-six little letters of the alphabet all have something they need—or want—to do before big-letter moms and dads tuck them in. Another fun rhyming book to read aloud!

Here is the illustrator, Melissa Sweet. (Caldecott Honor Recipient)
She signed a copy for Carson last spring at the Dublin Literacy Conference!
